At Pines Hill Farm we raise registered Aberdeen beef. Originally from Australia, they are a smaller framed cow that does exceptionally well on grass.  This is makes them a perfect fit for our farm. Small, sustainable, and grass fed.  We breed through artificial insemination (AI), so we have the options to pick from the best genetics in the country. We breed with the highest quality in mind, focusing on the health of the animal, and overall beef quality. Because we breed and raise our beef, we have cows here that we use to continue to grow there herd, and some that are raised for beef. Beef animals are raised for about two years and are then processed at Northeast Kingdom processing center in Lyndonville VT.
